Dispatcher - customer updates (Madison, WI)

Westbrook Quarry Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Madison. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on customer updates. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Madison. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of carrier rates. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
