Dispatcher - customer updates (Louisville, KY)

Summit Orchard Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Louisville, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling collection routes on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of collection routes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
