Dispatcher - customer updates (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Quarry Environmental Services Group and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be customer updates. You would join a small organisation of about 199 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling recycling loads on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of recycling loads. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
