Dispatcher - customer updates (Hartford, CT)

Northwind Harbor Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Hartford. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on customer updates. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling fleet maintenance on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of fleet maintenance. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
