Dispatcher - customer updates (Grand Rapids, MI)

Amberfield Oak Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Grand Rapids, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling field inspections on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
