Dispatcher - customer updates (Detroit, MI)

Greenridge Ashton Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Detroit, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling collection routes on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of collection routes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
