Dispatcher - customer updates (Des Moines, IA)

Westbrook Forge Inspection Services is an inspection company in Des Moines with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling client sites on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of client sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
