Dispatcher - customer updates (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Lakeside Environmental Services and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be customer updates. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling weigh tickets on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
