Dispatcher - customer updates (Dallas, TX)

Bright Orchard Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Dallas, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
