Dispatcher - customer updates (Columbus, OH)

Lumen Wren Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Columbus, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of carrier rates. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
