Dispatcher - customer updates (Columbus, OH)

Foxglove Quarry Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Columbus. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on customer updates. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
