Dispatcher - customer updates (Columbus, OH)

Summit Fern Environmental Services is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on customer updates for fleet maintenance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling fleet maintenance on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
