Dispatcher - customer updates (Cleveland, OH)

Rivermark Hollow Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Cleveland, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. You would join a large organisation of about 501 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of dock schedules. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
