Dispatcher - customer updates (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Cedar Bridge Environmental Services and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be customer updates. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling landfill records on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of landfill records. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
