Dispatcher - customer updates (Chicago, IL)

Amberfield Drift Inspection Services is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on customer updates for scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 108 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling scheduling on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
