Dispatcher - customer updates (Chicago, IL)

Bright Linden Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Chicago with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on customer updates. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling service complaints on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of service complaints. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
