Dispatcher - customer updates (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Silverline Bridge Freight and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be customer updates. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling claims on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of claims. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
