Dispatcher - customer updates (Buffalo, NY)

Cedar Umber Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Buffalo, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling certifications on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of certifications. • Experience with routing software.
