Dispatcher - customer updates (Boston, MA)

Ironwood Meridian Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Boston. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on customer updates. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling certifications on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of certifications. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
