Dispatcher - customer updates (Boston, MA)

Westbrook Keystone Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Boston, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
