Dispatcher - customer updates (Birmingham, AL)

Ironwood Mill Farms is an agricultural business based around Birmingham, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. You would join a large organisation of about 932 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling field records on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of field records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
