Dispatcher - customer updates (Birmingham, AL)

Greenridge Fern Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Birmingham region, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our customer updates. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling packing house output on changes. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of packing house output. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
