Dispatcher - customer updates (Anchorage, AK)

Rivermark Stone Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Anchorage. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on customer updates. We reward reliability. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
