Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Wichita, KS)

Amberfield Quill Freight is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on after-hours coverage for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling proof of delivery on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of proof of delivery. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
