Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Toledo, OH)

Lumen Wren Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Toledo. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on after-hours coverage. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer tracking. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
