Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Tampa, FL)

Cedar Orchard Freight is a Tampa logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our after-hours coverage. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of loads and lanes. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
