Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Lumen Ivory Freight and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be after-hours coverage. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of dock schedules. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
