Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (St. Louis, MO)

Redstone Mill Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of St. Louis, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our after-hours coverage. You would join a small organisation of about 112 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling claims on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of claims. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in St. Louis. • We reply to every applicant.
