Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Savannah, GA)

Greenridge Harbor Freight Group is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on after-hours coverage for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling proof of delivery on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of proof of delivery. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
