Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Wren Environmental Services Partners and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be after-hours coverage. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling fleet maintenance on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of fleet maintenance. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
