Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (San Jose, CA)

Lumen Meridian Inspection Services is an inspection company in San Jose with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our after-hours coverage. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling scheduling on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of scheduling. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
