Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Bridge Freight and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be after-hours coverage. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling proof of delivery on changes. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
