Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (San Antonio, TX)

Foxglove Bridge Freight is a San Antonio logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on after-hours coverage. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
