Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Salt Lake City, UT)

Silverline Orchard Freight is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on after-hours coverage for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of loads and lanes. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
