Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Union Inspection Services and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be after-hours coverage. You would join a small organisation of about 93 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling test reports on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
