Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Summit Lakeside Environmental Services Group is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on after-hours coverage for recycling loads, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling recycling loads on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of recycling loads. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
