Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Fernwood Juniper Inspection Services Group tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around New Orleans. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on after-hours coverage. You would join a small organisation of about 105 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling scheduling on changes. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
