Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Northwind Forge Environmental Services is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on after-hours coverage for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling collection routes on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of collection routes. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
