Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Wren Freight Group and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be after-hours coverage. You would join a large organisation of about 743 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer tracking. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Oklahoma City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
