Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Harborlight Juniper Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Sacramento. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on after-hours coverage. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling proof of delivery on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
