Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Bright Forge Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Houston, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our after-hours coverage. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling claims on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of claims. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
