Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Clearpath Mill Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Minneapolis. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on after-hours coverage. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling proof of delivery on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
