Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Clear Farms and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be after-hours coverage. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling grower contracts on changes. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of grower contracts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
