Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Summit Glen Environmental Services is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on after-hours coverage for recycling loads, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 235 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling recycling loads on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of recycling loads. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
