Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Westbrook Wren Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Toledo with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on after-hours coverage. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling fleet maintenance on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
