Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Cedar Keystone Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Honolulu. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on after-hours coverage. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of customer tracking. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
