Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Clearpath Fern Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Dallas. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on after-hours coverage. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of carrier rates. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
