Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Clear Freight and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be after-hours coverage. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling proof of delivery on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
