Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Fernwood Meridian Inspection Services Group tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Charleston. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on after-hours coverage. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling scheduling on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
