Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Foxglove Quarry Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Anchorage, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our after-hours coverage. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
